FRISCO, Texas (Via US Youth Soccer) — US Youth Soccer has announced that Murfreesboro, Tenn., and the Tennessee State Soccer Association will host the 2019 US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup, July 10-14, at Richard Siegel Soccer Complex.

The event will feature 40 Boys and Girls teams in the 13U through 17U age groups. Each team will play preliminary matches Wednesday, July 10 through Saturday, July 13 to determine the top two teams to play in the finals on Sunday, July 14.

“Each year we begin the US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup competition by selecting the hosting sites for each level of this competition, which has quickly become one of US Youth Soccer’s most popular programs,” US Youth Soccer Chair Jesse Harrell said. “The competition between potential sites to provide the best possible experience for the players, teams and fans becomes fiercer each year. We excitedly look forward to the final awarding of the four regional locations along with the site for the US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup.”

Murfreesboro is a familiar host for US Youth Soccer as it held the 2010 National Presidents Cup as well as the 2011 US Youth Soccer Region III Championships.

“I am delighted that the 2019 US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup is returning to Murfreesboro, Tennessee,” US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup Chair Will Maffit said. “The Tennessee State Soccer Association, partnered with the Murfreesboro Soccer Club/Nashville FC was a gracious host in 2010 at the Richard Siegel Soccer Complex, and I am looking forward to returning to this beautiful venue. The amenities in Murfreesboro are plentiful, with many dining, entertainment and shopping options in close proximity. I know the participants in the 2019 National Presidents Cup will enjoy the southern hospitality that the Murfreesboro will most certainly provide.”

Each US Youth Soccer State Association determines the path through which its state teams advance to the regional competitions. Regional winners of the 13U through 17U Boys and Girls age groups will earn a berth to the US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup.
