KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Via NSCAA) – Stetson senior midfielder Lucas Diniz and DePaul senior forward Elise Wyatt have been named the NSCAA College Players of the Week for their on-field performance, August 25-31.

Diniz is the first NCAA Division I men’s winner of the 2015 season. In the Hatters’ opening week, he posted five goals in two road wins. Diniz started the season with two goals in the season opener at Georgia Southern on Friday. On Sunday, he followed up with a hat trick in a 3-0 win UAB. That hat trick feat was the first for the program in four years.

Diniz, a native of Goiania, Brazil, also picked up his third career Atlantic Sun Player of the Week honor and also led Stetson to its first 2-0 start since 2011.

Wyatt recorded 11 points on five goals and an assist last week. She notched her first career hat trick against Eastern Michigan on Friday. Then on Sunday, the senior forward from Victoria, British Columbia, scored the second and third goals before assisting on the final goal of the game.

Wyatt was also named the BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week.

The NSCAA College Players of the Week are announced every Tuesday throughout the fall college regular season on NSCAA.com. Winners will include a men’s and women’s winner from all three NCAA divisions.

The next announcement of the NSCAA College Players of the Week will be Tuesday, Sept. 8.
