Sporting Kansas City off to 6-0 start after 1-0 victory over Real Salt Lake

Sporting Kansas City stretched their winning streak to six matches to open the 2012 season with a 1-0 victory over Western Conference leaders Real Salt Lake on Saturday in front of a sellout crowd at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park.

Aurelien Collin scored the game-winning goal in the 63rd minute, heading home a corner kick from Graham Zusi, and goalkeeper Jimmy Nielsen recorded his MLS-best fifth shutout of the year.

Sporting becomes the first MLS team to start a season 6-0 since the Los Angeles Galaxy won their first 12 games in 1998.
