Super Y League North American Finals Preview: U-18 Girls

Both Met Oval and Fauquier County United have the chance to claim consecutive U18 titles at the North American Super Y League Finals.

Met Oval defeated Ironbound SC, 2-0, in the 2015 competition, and the reigning U18 Boys champion finished the 2016 SYL regular season with an impressive 9-1-0 record.

Fauquier County earned a 3-2 win against Midwest United FC to lift the U18 Girls’ title in 2015, and the club will be looking to take home another trophy after ending the SYL season with a 7-0-0 record.

For the U18 Girls’ tournament, there is one group – Group A – comprised of four teams, while the U18 Boys’ competition features three groups – Group A, Group B and Group C – also comprised of four teams each. The tournaments will be played from Dec. 9-13 at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.
