Albertson

U-13/14s – Albertson 1-8 Match Fit (10/11)
U-15/16s – No Game
U-17/18s – No Game

The older age groups had the weekend off, but the U-13/14s were in action. They were still seeking their first win of the year, but are still waiting. They were handed a heavy defeat by Match Fit as Peter Young scored Albertson’s lone goal.

BSC Connecticut and Everton FC Westchester

U-13/14s – BSC CT 1-4 Everton FC Westchester (10/12)
U-15/16s – BSC CT 1-2 Everton FC Westchester (10/12)
U-17/18s – BSC CT 1-5 Everton FC Westchester (10/12)

It was a one-sided weekend between BSC CT and Everton FC Westchester. Each BSC CT team found one goal, but couldn’t keep Everton off the score sheet leading to lopsided scores in the U-13/14 and U-17/18 divisions. The U-15/16 match was a nail biter, with BSC’s Matthew Wilson pulling a goal back in the 78th minute after Everton took a 2-0 first half lead. However, Everton’s defense held on strong for the 2-1 win.

Everton’s U-17/18 side had five players (Krenar Alimi, Oliver Harris, Simeon Okoro, Adrian Andres Sanchez and Daniel Alexander Sydor) tally one goal each in their big win over BSC. Andrew Carton and Dantae Greer scored for the U-15/16s, and JJ Jimenez-Vargas, Eugenio Palau Mayrl and Alex Zarikos found the net for the U-13/14s. BSC also had an own goal in the match.

Blau Weiss Gottschee

U-13/14s – FC Bolts Celtic 1-4 BW Gottschee (10/12)
U-15/16s – FC Bolts Celtic 0-5 BW Gottschee (10/12)
U-17/18s – FC Bolts Celtic 0-0 BW Gottschee (10/12)

Traveling to play FC Bolts Celtic, it was a fruitful weekend for BW Gottschee. The U-13/14s cored four times to win their second game in a row. Peter Mazanek scored once for his fifth of the year. Nick Kellerakos had a strong performance with a hat-trick to lead the U-13/14s to victory.

The U-15/16s also won big. It was their second 5-0 victory in a row. Five different players found goals with Endy ButiganSean McGowanDylan Nealis and Conor McGlynn – voted into last week’s SoccerWire’s DA Northeast Division Best 11 – scoring their second goals of the season. Golden Thomas scored the fifth goal and was the first time he was on target this season.

The U-17/18s played to a scoreless draw. The results have been mixed for them this season, but they still sit in the middle of the pack in their division.

Cedar Stars

U-13/14s – Seacoast United 1-1 Cedar Stars (10/11)

After a 3-0 loss a weekend ago, Cedar Stars bounced back and earned a draw against Seacoast United. Cedar Stars conceded a goal two minutes into the second half, but Kyreem Seiman scored his first goal of the season shortly after the hour mark to give the side’s a share of the points.

Match Fit

U-13/14s – Albertson 1-8 Match Fit (10/11)

Match Fit are in top form at the moment, winning four of their last five games and unbeaten in that stretch as well. Their most recent win saw an outpouring of goals. Liam O’Brien netted a hat-trick to push his season total to four as Jeremy Rafanello found the back of the net twice to bring his season tally to five. Cody LaCava also scored a pair of goals and Ibrahim Khalil scored the other goal for Match Fit.

Met Oval

U-13/14s – Continental FC Delco 2-0 Met Oval (10/11)

Met Oval continues to struggle finding goals and finding results. They were held scoreless for the third time this season and have lost five consecutive games. They will hope that next week can be the week for a reversal of fortunes.

New York Red Bulls

U-13/14s – NY Red Bulls 0-0 Lehigh Valley United (10/11)
U-15/16s – No Game
U-17/18s – No Game

Only the U-13/14s were in action for the New York Red Bulls and it was a poor result by the standards they’ve set so far. The high-scoring attack was held scoreless for the first time all season and it was the first time in six games they hadn’t won. Credit has to go to Lehigh Valley United who had been prone to losing big in the early stages of the season, but held firm for a clean sheet.

NJCSA

U-13/14s – Soccer Association of Columbia 0-2 NJCSA (10/12)
U-15/16s – No Game
U-17/18s – No Game

It took five games, but the U-13/14s secured their first victory of the season while the older age groups were out of action this past weekend. Daniel Sokolin scored the opener and then Joseph Benevento sealed the win in the 79th minute.

Oakwood

U-13/14s – Oakwood 2-1 New York Soccer Club (10/11)
U-13/14s – Oakwood 3-2 Empire Revolution (10/12)
U-15/16s – Oakwood 0-2 Empire Revolution (10/12)
U-17/18s – Oakwood 1-1 Empire Revolution (10/12)

The U-13/14s played twice this past weekend and found two victories. Jonathan Foster and Kendall Newman scored to down New York Soccer Club. The following day Brendan Kish scored a hat-trick to lift Oakwood over Empire Revolution.

The U-15/16s remain towards the bottom of the Northeast Division after being shut out in a loss to Empire Revolution. The U-17/18s took the lead through a DeAndre Brown goal and his fifth of the season. Unfortunately, Oakwood couldn’t hold on and had to settle for a draw.

PDA

U-13/14s – Baltimore Bays Chelsea 0-8 PDA (10/12)
U-15/16s – Baltimore Bays Chelsea 0-5 PDA (10/12)
U-17/18s – Baltimore Bays Chelsea 1-5 PDA (10/12)

After a high-scoring weekend the previous one, PDA followed it up with another this past weekend. Each team secured big victories down in Maryland.

The U-13/14s scored eight times while keeping a clean sheet. Skyler Conway and Ivan Loncar scored twice bringing their season tallies to five and six respectively. John Murphy pushed his goals on the season to seven after finding the back of the net four times. Zach Riviere, who was on last week’s SoccerWire’s DA Atlantic Division Best 11 was held without a goal.

The U-15/16s scored five goals in consecutive games now, but this time they were able to secure the clean sheet. The U-17/18s also tallied another five goals in a consecutive games.
