Congratulations to this week’s Potomac Soccer Wire Best 11 players, a list for the top performers across all youth travel soccer clubs based in DC and the states that touch the Potomac River. Each list is selected by our staff from nominations sent in from coaches, as well as from personal observation of our reporters and other trusted sources.

Bailey scored in each of Baltimore Armour’s two away games this past weekend. In a close match against Oakwood, he hit an outstanding 25-yard volley for a goal. Had an outstanding overall weekend and was the best player on the field for Baltimore.

Boyes was brilliant in PWSI’s State Cup match on Saturday, saving numerous 1 v 1’s and organizing the 10 players in front of her perfectly. The GK followed it up with another excellent match on Sunday, including coming off her line to punch away a corner with the game on the line.

Brezniak scored the first two goals for D.C. United in their decisive 4-0 victory over Albertson SC on Sunday.

Brown had a brace against Richmond United to lead McLean’s ECNL squad to a 3-1 victory on Sunday.

Burke scored a hat trick from midfield and was a constant threat to the McLean’s defense in CCL action. She also assisted on two goals in a great team performance.

Burkett created havoc throughout Richmond United’s entire ECNL match against McLean. The forward scored an impressive three goals and had two assists to lead her team to a 5-3 victory.

Dixon scored a hat trick against Maryland United in U-14 ECNL action, leading FC Virginia to a big 5-0 shutout win.

Dokken was in tremendous form during Arlington’s Round of 32 State Cup match. He continued to give away precious few, if any, opportunities to the opponent while making consistent contributions as he came forward to take part in two goals in his team’s victory.

Javier worked tirelessly as a lone striker for VSA against CYA in NPL action, scoring the game-winning goal from 25 yards out.

O’Shea went all 90 minutes and scored two goals in his team’s 3-0 shutout victory over Albertson in Development Academy action on Saturday.

Vasquez had a hat trick to help Loudoun 98B Red secure passage to the next round of State Cup play.

Every month we publish at least three weekly Best 11 lists, Soccer Wire will also publish a Potomac Soccer Wire “Players of the Month” list which will include the top performers at each of the four primary positions of goalkeeper, defender, midfielder and forward.

Player nominations, from any league, may be submitted here by technical staff members of the players’ clubs or by licensed coaches who observed them play in a competitive game with the previous week.
