    As part of its ongoing effort to make soccer the preeminent sport in the U.S. by developing world class players, coaches, and referees, U.S. Soccer has appointed Aloys Wijnker as the Director of the U.S. Soccer Boys' Development Academy and Tony Lepore as the Director of Talent Identification.

    U.S. Soccer has announced the hiring of Miriam Hickey as the Director of the Girls' Development Academy. Hickey joins U.S. Soccer after working as a Women's Football Instructor for FIFA, a National Development Officer for the Netherlands Football Federation (KNVB), and most recently as the Girls' Director of Coaching at Troy Soccer Club in Michigan.
  • Schedules released for 2017 USSDA Summer Showcase, Playoffs
    The U.S. Soccer Development Academy 2017 Summer Showcase and Playoffs will be played at Grand Park in Westfield, Indiana from June 20-26. Following the event, the USSDA postseason will continue with Knockout Round games, slated for July 6 and 7 at the host locations. The season will conclude at the National Training Center in Carson, California with the Academy Championships on July 14 and 16.
