MLS-leading New York Red Bulls set to host Montreal Impact
The New York Red Bulls close out a three-match home stand on Wednesday night when the Montreal Impact come to Red Bull Arena. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m., with coverage on MSG+ and Red Bulls Internet Radio. The Red Bulls (15-9-6) will look to continue the momentum from Saturday's 2-1 win over Columbus Crew SC, and cement its hold on the top spot in MLS.
Portland Thorns FC signs former Washington Spirit coach Mark Parsons
Portland Thorns FC today named Mark Parsons as the club’s head coach for the 2016 National Women’s Soccer League season. The former head coach and general manager of the Washington Spirit of the NWSL, Parsons, 29, helped guide the Spirit to consecutive league playoff appearances during the 2014 and 2015 seasons, posting a record of 18-15-11 in his two full seasons as head coach for the club.

Former U.S. Men's National Team goalkeeper and four-time FIFA World Cup veteran Kasey Keller, former U.S. Under-20 Men's National Team and Major League Soccer head coach Sigi Schmid and American soccer pioneer and former Men's National Team assistant coach Glenn "Mooch" Myernick were inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame on Saturday, Oct. 3, at the Museum of History and Industry in Seattle, Washington. Major League Soccer (MLS) announced today it has partnered with leading sports broadcaster FOX Sports Latin America to televise live league matches in Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America, and South America, with the exception of Brazil. With this newest partnership, MLS – in its 20thseason and just weeks away from the 2015 MLS Cup Playoffs – will now be viewed in nearly 120 countries and territories around the world.
