    USMNT draws Switzerland 1-1 in Gold Cup tune-up
    The U.S. Men's National Team earned a 1-1 draw against Switzerland on Tuesday afternoon in a tune-up match for the upcoming Gold Cup. Brek Shea netted a goal in the final minute of the first half for the U.S. and Valentin Stocker netted an 80th minute equalizer for Switzerland on an assist by Silvan Widner.

    Potomac Region U.S. Soccer Development Academy Recap: March 28-29, 2015
    Potomac area teams fared well this weekend in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy across the U-13/14, U-15/16 and U-17/18 age groups. Bethesda-Olney teams went a combined 3-0-0, Richmond United's U-13/14s and Baltimore Bays Chelsea U-17/18s each earned a win, and PWSI Courage scored a late equalizer to draw D.C. United 2-2 in a thrilling U-13/14 contest on Sunday.

    Generation adidas Cup to feature U-12 small-sided tournament
    Major League Soccer today announced that it will host an inaugural small-sided U-12 tournament in conjunction with the 2014-15 Generation adidas Cup in Frisco, Texas from April 2-4. Eight MLS academies will participate in the 7-v-7 competition, along with Mexican club Queretaro FC and Club America USA – the U.S.-based affiliate of the Mexican giant. The three-day tournament will be held at FC Dallas’ Toyota Soccer Center.
