We post players in the order the submissions are received, so the sooner you post following impressive game performances, the higher up the list they will appear for that week.

Abby was brilliant and tireless on the day, scoring four goals in a high-scoring game against OBGC Soccer that ended 5-5. She netted two in the first half and two in the second half, including a late go-ahead goal to put her team up 5-4, before OBGC ultimately equalized one final time.

Whitney scored both goals in the second half of a well-played game to insure victory for her team at the Loudoun Showcase. The second was brilliant as she collected a loose ball at midfield and streaked in on the left side of the opponent’s goal. Her shot beat the keeper and nestled into the goal at the far post.


Courtney Miles – Forward
McLean Youth Soccer ECNL 98 U-17 Girls

Courtney netted five of her team’s six goals to lead McLean to the top of the standings while playing up a division at the Loudoun Showcase, with wins over HMMS Eagle FC, Hershey SC and BRYC Elite.


Megan Baker – Midfielder

Megan scored the game-winner against host side Loudoun on a set piece from 30 yards out by bending it around the wall to hit it upper-90.


Katie Hoffman – Midfielder

Katie played very well throughout the Loudoun Showcase, contributing with two assists and continuing her steady play in the midfield to help ASA compile a perfect 3-0-0 record.


Hezha Barzani – Forward

Hezha scored five goals over the course of the three games in the Loudoun College Showcase, including a hat trick in the first match against Fredericksburg FC Red.


Mark Hernandez – Midfielder

Mark dominated the midfield, playing centrally and completing many passes in all three matches, while also winning many tackles. He played nearly every minute and was a leader on both sides of the ball.


Caoilinn McLane – Goalkeeper

Caoilinn had a great weekend overall, but topped it off with an outstanding performance against a very strong Vienna side. She made a number of top quality saves to keep Vienna at bay throughout the match.


Nathaniel Howell – Defender

Nathaniel was very calm and composed on the ball, displaying great speed and decision making. Showed tremendous versatility playing multiple positions on the back line and in the midfield.


Denis Nisic – Midfielder

Denis showed great composure throughout the event, moving extremely well with and without the ball. His decision making was consistently strong as he helped hold the midfield together all weekend long.


Andres Garcia– Midfielder
BRYC Elite 97 U-18 Boys

Annandale Premier Cup
Garcia was the maestro of a BRYC team that scored 11 goals and conceded only one while winning their APC bracket. He masterfully controlled the game while getting on the ball in dangerous areas and providing a constant threat in the attacking third.


Joshua Chiquillo – Forward
BRYC Elite 97 U-18 Boys

Chiquillo’s left-footed rocket was a problem all weekend for the opposition as he led BRYC in goals from his winger position. He terrorized defenders with his quick feet and trickery on the ball in advanced areas.


Tristan Nolte – Midfielder

Tristan put on a great individual effort for his goal, out-working the opposing defenders and showing his composure in front of net. His work-rate, reading of the game and leadership made him a standout on the field.


Sam Stauffer – Defender

Sam consistently controlled the tempo, possession, and flow of Mountain State’s passing and build-ups throughout the tournament. He communicated with his teammates very well, pushing counter attacks when the team needed, and organized the back line.


Abbie Seafross – Forward

Abbie scored in all three of her team’s games at the Loudoun Showcase, proving herself as a constant threat to the opposing defense with her skill, speed and ability to get into open spaces.


Alejandra Mosquera – Goalkeeper

Alejandra was critical for HMMS Eagle FC in goal all weekend long. She was very vocal, organized the team defensively and came up big in multiple 1v1 situations.


Kelly May – Goalkeeper

With Kelley in goal throughout the event, Club Ohio did not allow a single goal all weekend as the team increased their shutout tally to nine. With Club Ohio U-16 Green playing up in a U-17 bracket at the Loudoun Showcase, Kelly made a variety of highlight reel saves, including multiple stops in 1v1 situations against Locomotive FC and a dominant overall performance against Fredericksburg FC.


Casey Mayo – Defender

Casey had a great weekend and was terrific in her ability to win the ball and keep it for the team. She had some really good tackles throughout the weekend and was able to transition the team into the attack.


Cassidy Barnette – Forward

Cassidy had a hand in all three goals, scoring one and assisting two others. She was very dynamic throughout the weekend and was terrific in her 1v1 ability. She consistently beat players off the dribble and created goal scoring chances for the team.


Taylor Whitmer – Forward

Taylor came up with two brilliant goals against McLean, and played her role well as the central forward in both games. She was strong on the ball and was able to keep the ball up top, making it impossible for opponents to stop Oni’s attack. Taylor was able to create a lot of problems for both McLean’s and Vienna’s back lines by applying smart defensive pressure. Her intelligent play on both sides of the ball made her a difficult player to match up with.


Michelle Money – Midfielder

Michelle was a key component to helping Oni control the midfield in both games at the evefnt. Her skillful play allowed her to generate a lot of great combination play, which led to her scoring a goal in both games. Her vision and creativity allowed her to play dangerous balls behind the other teams’ defense. She also worked hard on both sides of the ball, doing a great job of winning and keeping possession in the midfield. Her deception and technique made her a difficult player to defend, and attack against in the midfield.
